For sudden onset of pleurisy, particularly after exposure to cold or wind.
Symptoms: Sharp, stabbing chest pain with a sense of anxiety or restlessness; difficulty breathing; rapid pulse.
For pleurisy with sharp, stitching pain, which worsens with any movement, coughing, or deep breathing.
Symptoms: Dry cough, intense pain on movement, and a strong desire to remain still.
Useful when the pain is severe, particularly under the ribs or on one side of the chest.
Symptoms: Pain worsens with motion, lying on the affected side, or taking deep breaths. Often accompanied by shortness of breath and fatigue.
